Final Fantasy XIII (PS3 English Version) Cie’th Mission 55 Reward: Growth Egg Subsequent Rewards: Moonblossom Seed x2 I apologize for the quality. I have no idea how to record on HDMI, and I doubt I have the money to buy the equipment to do so. Requirements: Acquired Chocobo Mounts (Mission 14) and defeated Chapter 11 Boss (Barthandelus) Cie’th Stone Location: Oerba Mark Location: (Neochu) The Archylte Steppe Low Levels: Need luck. Hard/Impossible to recover from it’s cursed scream at a low “level.” Exploit of Vanille’s ability Death makes things easier (if you’re lucky), especially when you’re low level and you want to get the Growth Egg (2x Crystarium Points) to level quicker. Vanille, obviously, equipped with Belladonna Wand, needs to be the leader of the party, and while I preferred Fang, any Sentinel to draw away attacks would do, but make sure to have a 10k+ (for low levels) with many protective buffs to survive the deadly onions. A good healer/synergist with fairly high magic and decent health (again, for low levels) also is recommended, especially if he/she gets targeted/slaughtered at the very beginning. Spam death with a little luck and voila, Growth Egg and the easier grinding begins. Oh, and also, don’t underestimate the little onions. If you’re too low to survive it’s bloodcurdling scream, you’ll probably want to be safe and take them out one by one with Vanille while the sentinel and healer does their job. I can only assume higher levels can handle this …
Oh god… here we go…. When you go attack and healing you get MURDERED and I did farm some CP beforehand. YOUR STRATERGY = Vanille/Snow/Lightning Sab/Sent/Medic Once you finish him off and the babies then you can earn double CP for any fight (I recommend behemoth and tiger 13600 CP, I can do it in 8 seconds now!) NOTE: I didnt have any special weapons, I had Hunters Rod star’d and my accessories were all HP related.

Final Fantasy XIII (PS3 English Version) Cie’th Mission 51 Reward: Genji Glove Subsequent Rewards: Bomb Core x10 Requirements: Complete Missions 35-50 (Titan’s Trials) Cie’th Stone Location: Faultwarrens – Sylphid/Gaian/Salamandrine/Nereid Paths (D# Zones in Trials) Mark Location: (Attacus) Faultwarrens – Titan’s Throne First time I beat him and scored my second Genji Glove (Got my first from Mission 62.) Debuffs are pretty essential, especially if you’re a lower level than I am. I’m sure I could have done this mission a while ago seeing as how a Sentinel can easily heal himself/herself through their defensive skills. Slow is definitely important to slow down his attacks, and every other buff just helps make the battle end faster. He can’t be staggered, but building his chain bonus a decent amount before going Commando(s) to deal damage. The moment he draws his first “blade,” it’s time to stick a sentinel in the party, essentially Snow, mainly because he has high health anyways, and Fang is both a hard hitter and has the debuffs you need. From then on, keep Lightning on Commando and debuff when needed before switching Fang to Commando and you’ve got it. Fang as a synergist quickens things up, especially with Bravera and Haste when your initial buffs wear off, if you decided to use shrouds, of course. Not too hard.
