LOS ANGELES, CA – (Marketwire – November 23, 2009) – Capcom ® Mobile, a leading developer and publisher of mobile games, today announced a strategic realignment of the mobile operations of the company. With immediate effect, the European mobile studio Capcom will focus exclusively on game development platform for smartphones, including Apple’s iPhone ™, Blackberry, Palm webOS ™, Windows ® Mobile and Android ™. In addition, Capcom has entered into a European distribution agreement with Gameloft ® to publish next six mobile titles: Resident Evil ®: Uprising, Street Fighter ® Alpha, Super Puzzle Fighter ™ II Turbo, Lost Planet ™ 2 ™ 2 and Dead Rising Where’s Wally 2.
